
The biennial ASU National Conference will be held this year in Melbourne from Tuesday, November 18 to Thursday, November 20 at the Melbourne Convention Centre, corner of Flinders and Spencer Streets, Melbourne. The theme is "ASU 2020".

Premier praises ASU for donation of life saving heart defibrillator
The Australian Services Union (ASU) has donated a heart defibrillator to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to be used when visitors suffer heart attacks. Victorian Premier John Brumby launched the defibrillator this week. (The defibrillator commemorating David Taylor was presented to Ambulance Victoria at the recent ASU National Conference and it was launched this week by the Victorian Premier). 8 January 2009
