Qantas EBA 8 wages and allowances set to increase

ASU Qantas EBA 8 provides for a pay rise from the first pay period on or after 1 July 2008 and also provides for a range of allowances to be adjusted for CPI (i.e. cost of living) or in line with the wage rise.

All wage rates increase by 3% and the various allowances also change. Make sure you check your next payslip to ensure you get the correct rates paid and due.

If you have any questions about the allowances contact your local ASU delegate or organiser.

Also, do not presume your pay is correct. There has been a long history of errors in pay since Payroll was centralised some years ago so it pays to check every payslip. You should also always keep an independent record of when you work and check this against your pay.
