Canon announce significant job losses before Christmas
Canon national management made contact with the ASU on 14 November 2007 to advise that a series of meetings are being held with employees across Australia to announce a major restructure in the Business Imagining (BSIG) division of Canon. Back to the table at Canon
This week (11th and 12th August) your ASU delegates and NCC representatives, with ASU Assistant National Secretary Linda White, met with Canon management to recommence negotiations of the Technical Consultants Agreement after the company’s draft was overwhelmingly rejected by technical consultants. Canon Agreement approved
Fair Work Australia (FWA) has approved the Canon Australia (Technical Consultants) Collective Agreement 2009. FWA approved the Agreement on Friday 16 April 2010 after seeking an undertaking from the employer that the clauses relating to right of entry and union rights were in accordance with the Fair Work Act. Canon NCC meets for first time since agreement finalised
The Canon NCC met by teleconference, Wednesday 26 July 2006. The Agenda for the NCC meeting included: Balanced Score Card; Constitution of NCC; Review of NCC Committee; Technicians Productivity; Defensive Driver Training (Holden Rodeos) and PaGA Teams allowance. Dispute to be heard by Fair Work Australia on Canon subcontracting to CSG Communications Pty Ltd
A dispute has been lodged with Fair Work Australia regarding the transmission of Technicians from Canon Australia Pty Ltd to CSG Communications Pty Ltd (CSG).
