NCR have refused to continue to negotiate a new agreement for customer engineers at NCR and instead have decided to put an agreement out to vote which is non union and cuts conditions. 15 March 2009 [full story]
World record bargaining meeting at NCR
How many times do you need to say no in one meeting to set the record? Well NCR gave it a really good nudge today when we lost count after at least 20 NOs to our claims. NCR responds – wages increases funded by making jobs redundant!
NCR management tabled a document to your bargaining team just in time for the latest meeting (21/01/09) which responds to the claims made in this round of bargaining. The document effectively states that to offer a wage increase, the company must cut jobs. They have offered 2.5% and cut 5 CE jobs. 23 January 2009 [full story]
Bargaining begins in earnest at NCR in 2008

Protected Industrial Action continues at NCR
ASU members commenced protected industrial action across NCR from Wednesday 22 February 2006. The action consisted of members walking off the job and implementing ongoing actions including bans on overtime and call-outs. 27 February 2006 [full story]
ASU NSW NCR draft tabled
As you are aware, the Delegates and members in NSW have developed a draft document to present to NCR in response to their draft and to put detail to our Log of Claims items. First NCR EBA meeting for 2006
Negotiations continued as planned Tuesday, 10 January. 2006 with the next meeting scheduled for Thursday, 12 January. The focus of the meeting was to work through a ‘draft’ set of clauses from NCR which in part attempts to address some of the ASU Log of Claims items and also formally puts some of the claims of NCR on the negotiating table. 11 January 2006 [full story]
