Help review equal opportunity for women – do the survey

15 October 2009

The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (the EOWW Act) is currently being reviewed by the Office for Women on behalf of the Australian Government. The ASU encourages members and friends, both men and women, to complete the survey to assist the review and to ensure your views are taken into account.

The EOWW Act requires certain employers to take actions and report on equal opportunity for women in their workplaces. The review is being undertaken to ensure that the EOWW Act, and the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA), are operating as effectively and efficiently as possible.

You are encouraged to take part in the review by completing this brief online survey. The survey comprises five sections that seek your views and feedback regarding equal opportunity for women in Australian workplaces. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. You are not expected to have an understanding of the EOWW Act to complete the survey.

>> Click here to do the survey here.

Further information on the review can be found on the Office for Women (OfW) website http://www.ofw.fahcsia.gov.au

Please complete the survey by no later than Friday 30 October 2009.

Your response will be sent to KPMG who are managing this survey on behalf of the Office for Women.
