The ASU AaE EBA was approved by the Fair Work Commission on 29 July 2015 and so comes into operation on 5 August 2015.
Under the agreement a pay rise was due the first pay period on or after 1 July 2015. As yet we have not been able to establish when the back pay will be made or when pays will be adjusted for this increase.
We are pleased though to advise that AaE ASU covered staff now have access to Qantas staff travel relevant to AaE as a subsidiary.
AaE staff will also be entitled to the bonus that was recently announced by Alan Joyce which will be payable after the profit announcement on 28 August 2015.
