08 August 2012 By ASU

kidsclockAs the largest local government union in Australia and the only union that covers child care workers in local government, the Australian Services Union (ASU) National Office and State Branches are currently surveying the sector. Child care workers perform some of the most important work in our community. By providing a caring and educative experience for our children they not only help build a better future they also enable parents to continue to contribute in the workforce.

The ASU is the union for local government child care workers and we believe that child care workers need a stronger voice.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and tell us about your work and what the important issues facing child care workers are.

Among other things, our survey looks how the introduction of the National Quality Framework (NQF) has been received, your working conditions and how valued you feel as a child care worker.

For further information contact the local government child care official in your Branch.
