13 March 2014 By ASU

The Construction and Property Services Industry Skills Council (CPSISC) is seeking stakeholder feedback on the review of building surveying qualifications. If you work in this area, your feedback is valuable. As the Union for building surveyors in local government, the ASU encourages you to participate in the reveiw.

The deadline for feedback is 4 April 2014 and it must be provided on the prescribed form - click here to download. Visit the CPSISC website for more information.

Background information from the CPSISC

The project to review and redevelop the Building Surveying qualification framework commenced in September 2012. This CPC08 Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package 'continuous improvement' project has been undertaken to meet the needs of individuals, enterprises and regulators.

The FIRST DRAFT qualifications and new units of competency are now available on the CPSISC website. The following link will take you directly to the project webpage where you will find background information on this project and you will also be able to view and download first draft qualifications and units:
