Blacktown Council has approved the establishment of an Executive Leadership Team to investigate improving and expanding the Council's child care services. This committee will oversee the running of child care until at least June 2015.
At Council's ordinary meeting on Wednesday 9 April, 2014, it was agreed upon by all parties that this team would comprise of the following; The Mayor, One Labor Councillor – Alan Pendleton, One Liberal Councillor – Karlo Siljeg, One Independent Councillor – Russ Dickens, The General Manager, Manager of Children Services, Senior Customer Service Liaison Officer and various Council Executive Directors when required.
